Claude Levi Strauss

  • Argued that meaning in narrative is based upon binary oppositions:
    • He was less interested in the arguement of narrative and more in the deeper meaning of themes.
Binary Oppisites: 
  • Man vs Women
  • Earth vs Space
  • Good vs Evil
  • Science vs Nature
